Our Fleeting Past Excursion.
Year 3 packed their lunches and headed to James Ruse & Elizabeth Macarthur Farms in Parramatta where they witnessed how early settlers lived. They really enjoyed dressing up in clothes of that period! Highlights were:
Scrubbing clothes on a washboard.
Cleaning carpet with a beater.
Planting corn.
Carrying water buckets across their shoulders.
Write their name with a quill.
