National Tree Day

Year 2 were very busy on National tree day! -  July 27, 2007.  Mrs Riddington, Mr Baker and Mrs Ang took their classes out to plant 50 native bushes in our gardens.  They donned gloves, picked up their buckets and got to work!  They put the plants donated by Shellharbour Council in the holes dug by Mr Gallagher.  Then buckets  were filled with mulch and carried to the gardens to help keep the soil moist and finally our watering cans were filled to give each plant a drink! Thanks to Shellharbour Council for all their help and thanks to all Year 2 for caring for our environment.
