GRANDPARENT’S CONCERT

Again the walls of our hall were stretched to the limit as our K-2 students performed an excellent array of items, which included dance, recitation, reading and singing, in front of the large audience.  The children left the hall feeling good about themselves, having enjoyed performing as much as the audience enjoyed watching and listening to them.  Mrs Prince’s KL class read and recited “Grandpa Grandpa” and then cleverly gave their own interpretation of “Grandma Grandma”; Miss McTiernan’s KM class created a lively dance to “Surfing USA”; Miss Puglisi’s K/1P class recited “Over in the Meadow” beautifully; Mrs Ang’s and Mr Baker’s 2A and 2B class showed their choir potential with “Home Among the Gum Trees” and “Maggalina Haggalina”; Mrs Munro’s 1M class captivated the audience with their recitation and reading of “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt”; Mrs Downes KD class displayed controlled movement and the fun element in “We Love to Dance” and finally Mrs Riddington’s 1/2R class sang two enjoyable songs “What Can Make a Hippopotamus Smile” and “Alexander Beetle”.  We are pleased to have had the opportunity to present these items to the grandparents, parents and relatives of children at Shellharbour Public School—Mrs Riddington  Look below for pictures of the event...
