Fig tree  Beautification

The Fig Tree has been a feature of Shellharbour School for as long as we can remember. The area under the tree was in need of some TLC, so Year 2 students ably assisted by their teachers, Mrs Ang and Mr Baker and with the help of a Year 2 parent, Mr Chad Allen of ISG Professional Tree Service, set to work in beautifying this area. Native bushes were planted around the base of the tree and tons of mulch carefully spread across the whole area. Plants are being watered and cared for by the Ministry for the Environment.
