Clean Up Little Park Sunday 6 March

Once again  Shellharbour Public School students, parents and teachers      gave up their Sunday sleep in to help clean up Little Park. Our Environment Minister, Dylan Holland and Deputy Minister, Jake Mather together with over 50 eager helpers, all armed with gloves and rubbish bags, set off   along the rocks and park, determined to find as  much rubbish as possible.   It wasn’t long before bags were bulging with drink cans, cups, drink   bottles, plastic bags, wood, paper and enough  socks to clothe a family or two. After an hour and a half of hard work we had quite a few bags of rubbish  and everyone was  ready to enjoy a  well deserved frozen  orchy and ice cream. Our sincerest thanks to all students and parents and  birthday girl Sophie Ryan who once again gave  up their time to make our world a cleaner place.
